The hare and rabbit are among some of the most widely-eaten games.

Young Hare

Usually roasted, but how about jerk or brown-stewed.

Older Hare

It is made into pâtés and pies, potted/meatloaf, jugged, and casseroled.

Using ginger, garlic, pimento wine, with other spices to prepare an overnight marinate can help to break the muscle fibers and tenderize the meat. However, how can you switch the usual ways of preparing it?

Rabbit

It is frequently stuffed with bread and herbs before baking, potted with layers of bacon or ham, and stewed with vegetables. What about doing a switch, like trying curried or jerked rabbit?
